At a Glance
- HPI was founded in 1998 by Hasso Plattner.
- Together with the University of Potsdam, HPI operates the Digital Engineering Faculty, offering a unique environment for studying computer science.
- HPI is home to over 800 students enrolled in the Bachelor's program in IT Systems Engineering and the Master's programs in Computer Science and Digital Health.
- HPI has 32 professors. Thirteen are ranked among the world's top 2% most-cited researchers.
- More than 300 startups have turned their ideas into reality through the HPI ecosystem.
